Winter Song

Autumn is winding down and winter is coming. It’s time for snowflake fabric, hot chocolate, wool sweaters, and a joy-filled playlist in the studio. To welcome in a warm and wonderful season of crafting, we’re releasing a new collection called Winter Song.

Lyrics that evoke the magic and memories of snow days were the inspiration for Winter Song, available now in the shop.

You’ll have plenty of time to make handmade gifts for holiday celebrations using new sentiment panels, Print & Quilts, and paper piecing patterns. Stay inspired with a blizzard of Winter Song projects we’ll be showcasing on the blog all month.

Cue the music…it’s time to fill the craft table with merry and bright sentiments that will have you dashing through your snow fabrics. If you start humming while visions of wonderland mug rugs dance in your head, just know we’ll be singing along on the sunporch.

It's the most wonderful time of the year

There'll be much mistletoe-ing

And hearts will be glowing

When loved ones are near

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

In November

“In November, the earth is growing quiet. It is making its bed, a winter bed for flowers and small creatures. The bed is white and silent, and much life can hide beneath its blankets.” -Cynthia Rylant

When November rolls in, I start reflecting back and preparing forward. The month is about family and gratitude. At my craft table, I make handmade gifts for people I love.

Throughout November, I’ll be sharing my Winter Song projects with you. Today is a little peek at just one of the projects I’m working on in the studio. Say hello to my niece, Danielle:

Last winter, my niece, Danielle was wrapped up for snow adventures. This season she’ll be ready for hot chocolate and a treat served up on a tray I made using a picture frame.
